We provide a full range of digestive disease services to treat such cases as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, difficulty in swallowing, hepatitis and cancers of the colon and rectum. In addition, we strongly encourage screening for colon cancer and are committed to colon cancer prevention.
Colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures are performed at CSGA’s Joint Commission Accredited, state-of-the-art facility. We use modern, high-definition colonoscopy and EGD equipment. Our new technology demonstrates our dedication to providing patients the highest quality in the prevention and treatment of digestive diseases.
ASGE’s Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program (EURP)
CSGA is proud to announce our recent recognition by the ASGE (American Society for Gastroenterology Endoscopy) for being an Endoscopy Center for excellence in QUALITY and SAFETY. CSGA is one of two centers in the state of Kentucky recognized and the only center in central Kentucky recognized.ASGE’s Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program (EURP), is the only national program of its kind. It honors Endoscopy Centers for demonstrating their commitment to delivering quality and safety as reflected in their policies, credentialing, quality improvement activities, staff training, competency assessments and more. In today’s ever-changing healthcare industry, it is imperative that Endoscopy Centers demonstrate their ability to deliver the highest quality of care, in the safest environment.
CSGA monitors their quality and safety performance by measuring the following key criteria:
